Westcon Yards Announces new dry dock facility in Floro
Westcon Yards AS has announced investing in a new dry dock ficility in Florø, Norway.
The 140x30 meter dock is planned to be ready for operation in the second half of 2024. The new dry dock will further strengthen the position of the company as one of the largest providers of docking services in Norway. The dry dock will increase the capacity and flexibility to take on larger projects.
Westcon Yards AS is a modern shipyard with a main focus on offshore service, shipbuilding, rig and ship repair. The Yard is located in Ølensvåg, Florø, Helgeland and Karmsund with a short distance to Haugesund, Stavanger and Bergen.
